Into the Woods to Premiere at the Apollo in Peoria, Illinois

METAMORA, IL (March 11, 2008) -- Into the Woods was shot in small Illinois towns of Washburn and Metamora over the past summer by local filmmakers David Zimmerman III and Levi Obery. In the film, five college students venture into the woods for a simple camping trip. The next day, four of them go missing and the race to find them stirs up a rollercoaster of twists and unexpected events.

The premiere will be March 30th at the Apollo Theatre on 311 S. Main Street in Peoria, Illinois. Cast and crew red carpet arrivals will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the premiere and a “black-tie” reception. A second screening will begin at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the premiere and reception or $5 for the 8:00 p.m. showing.

 

About Levi Obery

Levi Obery began producing small video projects and films under the "Ten Thirty-One" banner in 2002. The name was derived from a film project that was set on Halloween. The film was his first collaboration with David Zimmerman III. Obery is the principal shareholder in Ten Thirty-One Pictures Entertainment and manages its overall operations, which include motion picture development, production, and distribution.

Obery graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship.

Obery co-directed, wrote, and produced The Only Way, the controversial film about a school shooting. The following summer, he co-directed, wrote, and produced the short film Before the Storm. He then produced Into the Woods, the fourth film with David Zimmerman III. Obery also served as Co-Producer on Edgar Michael Bravo's critically acclaimed film One Hour Fantasy Girl, which was shot in Los Angeles in February 2008. In August 2008, Obery formed Bravo-Obery-Rice Productions LLC with Edgar Michael Bravo and John Paul Rice to produce The Boy Who Couldn't Say No, the sequel to One Hour Fantasy Girl, and The Magic Stone, an all-new psychological thriller. The Magic Stone recently wrapped principal photography and will be released early 2011. Obery will also produce Johnny Violence, the new film from Heroic Age Studios, under the Ten Thirty-One Pictures banner. Johnny Violence is currently in development and production scheduled for 2010.

About David Zimmerman III

David Zimmerman III has been making movies since he was old enough to pickup a video camera. He heads motion picture production at Ten Thirty-One Pictures and works closely with Levi Obery to develop and produce original, quality, cutting-edge movies. Zimmerman's production company, Z3 Films, is a division of Ten Thirty-One Pictures Entertainment Inc. Z3 Films continues to produce and distribute its own films; however it does so now as a part of Ten Thirty-One Pictures.

Zimmerman attended Columbia College Chicago and graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Video.

Zimmerman has worked with Levi Obery since 2002 when they produced the film from which Ten Thirty-One Pictures received its name. Zimmerman is currently developing several new projects for both Ten Thirty-One Pictures and Z3 Films.
